A little about myself...
I started working with wood over 40 years ago in my father's basement shop. In the beginning he would let me use hand tools. Only after I learned their proper use was I allowed to move on to power tools. I still use quite a few of those same tools today. In high school I was lucky to have an excellent teacher, Mr.
Elliot. If you wanted to learn he would spend as much time with you as you needed. If you didn't, he had a
2x4! Over the next few years I would learn design, graphic arts and business. Little did I know that I'd still be using those lessons today.
I still enjoy the challenges of creating quality handcrafted products. In addition to traditional methods, I use computer aided equipment to help design and shape the wood, plastic, glass and other materials used today.
I'm also believe in passing on the woodworking lessons I've learned over those past 40 plus years. I teach classes at the Gwinnett Woodworkers Association Inc. and I'm the immediate past vice president where I coordinated the class schedule for the past year.
Thanks for taking the time to read about me. If I can help on your next project or create a special item for you, please don't hesitate to contact me.
